Data processed in your browser
Live test readings, notes, checklists, and reports are processed in the current browser. Camera and microphone streams are displayed or analyzed locally after a user action. A selected Windows battery-report file is read in the page and is not uploaded by this application.
Local storage
Reports, theme preference, and checklist progress may be stored in browser storage on your device. You can delete reports from the report library or clear site data in browser settings. Exported files are controlled by you.
Hosting logs and infrastructure
The hosting provider may process ordinary request metadata needed to deliver the site and protect the network. Hardware Test Lab does not add a separate analytics or advertising collector in this release.
Data minimization
No public contact channel or upload workflow is required for the core diagnostics. Keep sensitive reports on your device and share exported files only when you intentionally choose to do so.
